Car history: |
This extremely low-optioned car was a pseudo barn-find. Previous owner purchased car in 1989 and drove it one summer before he went overseas to work. Before he left, he stored it in his father's heated pole barn and covered. Over the next 12 years, the car only moved twice. Once circa 1993 to get repainted and a new top installed, and again in 1998 to have the motor rebuilt to it's current configuration. Previous owner returned to the states in 2001 with a wife and two kids, and no longer needed/wanted a two seat Corvette. I purchased the car in the spring of 2002, and after going through the obvious needs of a car sitting that long (i.e. brakes, brake lines, shocks, etc.), we have been driving it every opportunity since. Fantastic therapy after a crappy day at work. |
